In Ajman, UAE , 16th January 2021
We were contacted by Siddharth, only a few days before he wanted to surprise his wife with a Renewal of Vows ceremony to help celebrate their 25th wedding anniversary.
His wife Bhumika, had no idea that this was all going on and for a couple of days, we were non-stop, gathering stories of their journey and love story to be able to write and conduct a beautiful, bespoke ceremony for them both.
After a few late nights, lots of video calls and whatsapp messages, the ceremony was finished.
William and I arrived at the beautiful villa, situated on a golf course in Ajman, one of the seven Emirates.
A handful of the couples family and friends started to arrive.
Bhumika was kept upstairs and was told she was to get ready for a photo shoot.
Downstairs, florists, photographers, planners, caterers, family and friends, all ran around making sure everything was just perfect.
And it was.
The ‘bride’ was escorted down the stairs by her brother and walked out into the garden to the sound of The Piano Guys playing A Thousand Years.
The look on Bhumika’s face was priceless. She was the one who always arranged and planned everything, so for her husband to have done this without her knowledge was unbelievable.
The Ceremony was full of fun, love and lots of laughter.
The couple involved family members by getting them to sing and read poems throughout.
Towards the end of the ceremony, the husband and wife signed a Renewal of Vows certificate, whilst Shania Twain played in the background, singing, From this Moment.
Siddharth presented Bhumika with a beautiful diamond ring and then their daughter joined them under the flowered arch to celebrate, sing, laugh and dance to Michael Buble’s Save the Last Dance for Me.
Everyone spent the entire day smiling and laughing. It really all did come together and could not have gone any better.
Siddharth had accomplished an amazing surprise for his wife and the day will always be remembered.
We were honoured to be such a big part of it.
The late nights were all worth it to see the smiles on the faces of the bride and groom and their family and friends.
We really do love our job xx
